Sarah's Baby Shower

The picture of this cake was taken with a camera phone, so it doesn't do it justice. My camera is broken.

Lilly's 6th Birthday Cake

As always, it had to be horses. She wanted a barn theme again, but I asked her to consider something a little different and I did a carousel. The cake was vanilla and the filling was Cherry Almond Mousse. The carousel even turned on it's base.

Happy Birthday Logan!

I made this for my nephew's 5th birthday.

The cake is not chocolate, it is actually a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting tinted brown. We made the wood grain with food coloring. In the hot July afternoon this cake began to melt and droop. The birthday boy never noticed and he thought it was the coolest cake ever.

Fourth of July Cake

This cake didn't even get finished before it was eaten. It was loved by all, though.

Cris' 16th Birthday Cake

Hello Kitty has invaded my house. I incorporated the help of the birthday girl for this cake. She molded Hello Kitty out of fondant. I used a fondant ribbon cutter to make the bottom layers and used all her favorite neon colors for this cake. It was a hit.

Go Zebras (8th Grade Graduation Cake)

This was actually my first paying gig. I did the zebra cake for a friend of my cousin. Her son was graduation 8th grade and the school he would be attending had a zebra for a mascot.

I also did a small personal anniversary cake for her and her husband's anniversary that fell on the same day as the graduation party. This was also the first time I tried out my special chocolate truffle cake.
